CIRTN was founded in 1995 by David Lindstrom and several other construction industry training directors. Until that time there was really no organization that served the needs of the growing number of construction companies that were sponsoring training within their company. That initial meeting established the name of the organization, and the basic principles that have guided the organization for more than 25 years.
