Membership in CIRTN is available to senior level directors or managers of training or employee development functions for general and specialty contractors. Companies with a larger training and development staff can have a limited number of additional (associate) members. Membership is not open to students, consultants, vendors or other individuals.

Although there are no dues for members, there is an expectation that members will attend meetings at least once every two years and participate in the group's electronic discussions. Membership must be renewed annually.
